Frame

Frame
  • You can easily find your frame's measurements printed on the inside of the temple arm. These numbers, measured in millimeters, usually follow the manufacturer's style codes. For example, a sequence like 52 □ 18 140 means: 52: Lens width 18: Nose bridge width (often separated by a box symbol) 140: Temple arm length Using these existing measurements is the best way to choose a similarly sized frame when shopping online. For more details, please refer to our Basic Items of a Frame page.
  • Choosing a suitable frame size is very important when shopping for glasses online. You can check the inner temple arm of your previous glasses, where you will typically find a series of numbers: the first represents the lens width, the second is the bridge width, and the third is the temple length. If you cannot find these numbers, you can measure the frame yourself and choose frames with matching or similar dimensions. For more details, please refer to our Basic Items of a Frame page.
  • Please note that while we strive to display our frame colors as accurately as possible, monitor settings, screen brightness, and individual display variations can affect how colors appear. As a result, the color you see on your screen may not be an exact match to the actual item you receive. Product images are for reference only, and the actual product shall prevail.

Lens & Coating

Lens & Coating
  • Lens Index refers to the refractive quality of the lens—specifically, how efficiently it bends light. High-index lenses are typically recommended for stronger prescriptions, as they can make lenses much thinner and lighter than standard or mid-index options. However, a higher-index lens only results in a noticeably thinner lens if your prescription is strong enough to require it. For more details, please refer to our Lens Index and Thickness page.
  • A lens tint adds a permanent color to the lens, commonly used for fashion or prescription sunglasses. Photochromic lenses darken when exposed to direct sunlight and clear up again indoors or away from sunlight. For more details, please refer to our Color Tint and Lens Functions page.
  • Please note that 'Transitions' is a trademarked brand name for photochromic lenses. Photochromic lenses automatically darken when exposed to direct sunlight and become clear again when removed from sunlight.
  • Tinted lenses feature a permanent color, whether you are indoors or outdoors. Photochromic lenses remain clear indoors while automatically darkening outdoors depending on the light conditions. Polarized lenses maintain a consistent color indoors and outdoors, and are specially designed to eliminate harsh glare while filtering out UV rays. For more details, please refer to our Color Tint and Lens Functions page.
  • We do offer Anti-reflection coating(Standard Coating), Super hydrophobic coating(Advanced Coating), Oleophobic coating(Ultimate Coating). For more details, please refer to our Lens Coating page.
  • Single vision lenses are standard prescription eyewear featuring a single optical power across the entire lens, designed to correct vision for distance, intermediate (mid-distance), or reading use.
Distance: Ideal if you wear glasses all day and primarily need them for seeing far away, such as for driving.
Mid-Distance: Perfect if you mostly need them for working on a computer or tasks at arm's length.
Reading: Designed for close-up tasks such as reading books, papers, or documents.
For more details, please refer to our Prescription Types page.
  • Bifocal lenses feature two distinct optical zones. A small segment of the lens is dedicated to near-vision correction, while the rest of the lens is used for distance correction. For more details, please refer to our Prescription Types page.
  • Progressive lenses provide a seamless transition from distance through intermediate to near vision, incorporating all intermediate corrections along the way. You can look up for distance vision, look ahead to view your computer in the intermediate zone, and drop your gaze downward to read or perform close-up work comfortably. In short, progressive lenses offer the closest alternative to natural, youthful vision available in prescription eyewear. For more details, please refer to our Prescription Types page.
  • Polarized lenses are commonly used in sunglasses to reduce glare from reflective surfaces, such as the surface of a lake or the hood of a car. They achieve this through a process called polarization, much like a venetian blind controls sunlight through a window. For more details, please refer to our Lens Functions page.
  • Tinted lenses are permanently colored and, unlike adaptive photochromic lenses, their color remains constant at all times. Light tints are used primarily for fashion purposes to enhance a wearer's look, while darker tints allow the lenses to function as sunglasses. For more details, please refer to our Color Tint page.

Available colors are listed as below:
  • Photochromic lenses are light-adjusting lenses that remain clear indoors and automatically darken outdoors when exposed to sunlight. They darken in proportion to the amount of sunlight they receive. These lenses are slightly lighter in shade than regular sunglasses and take a few minutes to transition to their darkened state. Likewise, when moved away from the sun, the lenses take a few minutes to return to clear. For more details, please refer to our Lens Functions page.
  • We do offer lenses with different inde: 1.56, 1.61, 1.67, 1.71, 1.74 and we do offer different lens types: single vision, bifocal, progressive as well as different lens coatings: no anti-reflective coating, standard coating, advanced coating, ultimate coating.
  • The Anti-Reflection Coating (Standard Coating) minimizes light reflection and glare for clearer vision. The Super Hydrophobic Coating (Advanced Coating) includes all the properties of a standard anti-scratch and anti-glare coating, plus a water-resistant layer that repels dirt and water, making it much easier to clean. The Oleophobic Coating (Ultimate Coating) builds upon all previous properties—including anti-scratch, anti-glare, and hydrophobic layers—while adding an oil-resistant feature that effortlessly repels fingerprints and sweat.
You can select your preferred coating when customizing your lenses. Standard coating is recommended. For more details, please refer to our Lens Coating page.
  • Our lenses are made of resin, which is lightweight and highly impact-resistant.
  • We want to assure you that we process your lenses exactly as ordered. If you select a tint option, your lenses will be tinted; if you choose neither tint nor photochromic lenses, they will be clear. Additionally, if you want the glasses to look exactly like the product photos on our website, you can simply order the 'frame only' option, which comes with non-prescription demonstration lenses. (Please note that for reading glasses, the lenses are only clear.)

Prism: Indicates the amount of prismatic power, measured in prism diopters, needed to correct eye alignment issues.

Base: Specifies the thickest edge orientation of the prism.
